Eleanor Buchan
Eleanor trained at Ecole Philippe Gaulier, Paris, and at Central School of Speech and Drama following a degree in English Literature from Edinburgh University. She has studied with Jesko Von Den Steinen (Cirque de Soleil), Joe Windley and Lorna Marshall.
Theatre credits include Gretl in Clockwork, (Cambridge ADC), Amanda in Private Lives (Sheringham Rep), Aguae in The Bacchae (Liquid Rooms, Edinburgh), Alice in Closer (The Roxy, Edinburgh), Jessica in The Merchant of Venice (CSSD), Viola in Twelfth Night (CSSD), Isabella in Measure for Measure (CSSD), Lizzie in My Ex-Lover is Dead (The Arches, Glasgow), ensemble puppeteer in Hoazkla (Bedlam Theatre & Edinburgh Fringe) and The Fish Is Open (Germany, UK and Iran).

She is a performer with award winning puppet theatre company, Pangolin’s Teatime (Most Creative Ensemble Award, NSDF, 2007). A co-founder of the new writing company Contrived Productions, Eleanor has also worked in London for First Rung Theatre Company, The Globe Theatre, Act IV, The Old Vic and Battersea Arts Centre.
