Lena Natus
Lena was born in Germany. She is a performer and director who lives and works in Germany, Switzerland and London. She trained in classical drama at Drama School, Munich and at Ecole Philippe Gaulier. She has directed several performances and short films including Hin und Zurueck, (Freier Kunstkanal Mainz), Midsummer Night’s Dream, (Zitadellen Theater), directing and taking the role of Mann in Mann und Frau (Co-Production with Patrizia Joos, winner of ’Best Performance’, DSM). She has staged her own writing Symbiose, (Pathos Theater) and worked as assistant to the director at National Theater, Zurich on Die Methode with Christina Paulhofer (Schauspielhaus Zuerich). Theatre credits include Elizabeth in Mary Stuart (SPM-Theater) Penthisilea in Penthisilea (SPM-Theater), Abigail in The Crucible (Constantin Theater). Film credits include Stultifera Garden by Johanna Domke, filmed in Berlin, showing at Kunsthallen Brandts, Odense, Denmark; Gimsinghovedet, Struer, Denmark; Sydslesvig danske Kunstforening, Flensburg, Germany; Anna (lead role) by Elke Lehrenkrauss (Zuerich, Schweiz), Bocca by Tolga Dilsiz (Winterthurer Filmfestspiele, Schweiz). As one of the founding members of Aitherios she played in The Fish is Open in Berlin, London, Cambridge, as well as in Tehran and Isfahan in Iran.
